Emergency Response provides immediate safety and crisis stabilization. When someone is in danger or in the immediate aftermath of trauma, our team responds quickly, compassionately, and effectively — helping survivors access safety, understand their options, and connect with the resources they need.
Crisis does not wait for business hours. Our emergency response team is trained to respond at any hour — providing immediate, trauma-informed support to survivors in their most vulnerable moments. We understand that the first hours and days after a crisis are critical, and we take that responsibility seriously.
We assist survivors in safely leaving exploitation and connecting to secure spaces, coordinate emergency housing, and provide for basic needs including groceries, clothing, and hygiene items. We believe that meeting immediate physical needs is inseparable from trauma-informed care — safety is not just emotional, it is material.
Emergency response is not just about managing the immediate crisis. It is about ensuring that every survivor has a safe path forward, and that their first interaction with our organization sets the tone for a healing journey built on trust, dignity, and hope.

How We Help
Support Exiting Exploitation
We assist survivors in safely leaving exploitative situations and connecting to secure spaces. Our team navigates complex and sometimes dangerous circumstances with care, discretion, and a commitment to survivor safety above all else.
Coordinate Emergency Housing
We arrange short-term, safe housing to ensure immediate physical safety. We maintain relationships with local shelters and housing partners to facilitate rapid placement when survivors need a safe place to go.
Provide Basic Needs
We offer essential support including groceries, clothing, and hygiene items. Meeting basic needs is not separate from trauma-informed care — it is foundational to it. Survivors cannot begin to heal when their most immediate needs are unmet.
Crisis Counseling
Our trained advocates deliver trauma-informed support during acute emotional distress. Crisis counseling helps survivors stabilize, process what has happened, and begin to identify next steps — all at their own pace.
Safety Planning
We develop individualized safety plans to reduce risk of self-harm, suicidality, or further exploitation. Safety planning is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each survivor's specific circumstances and risks.
