Is This Trafficking?

Contact a hotline if you or someone you know is experiencing any of the following:

  • Being forced to have sex for money or something of value against their will

  • Under 18 and engaging in commercial sex acts

  • Being forced to work or perform services against their will

  • Unable to leave a work or living situation freely

  • Having identification documents withheld by another person

  • Being threatened, controlled, or manipulated by another person

Human trafficking is a severe form of exploitation involving force, fraud, or coercion for labor or sex. Force, fraud, or coercion need not be present if the individual engaging in commercial sex is under 18 years of age.
